In short: Mysterium VPN costs from Pay-per-use (in MYST or by card); exact subscription price not confirmed directly on the site; free option: Free trial (limited terms). Platforms: Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS.

A decentralized WireGuard-based VPN where exit nodes are ordinary participants' home connections rather than a single company's servers. Its no-logs policy hasn't been independently audited, and independent testing has recorded DNS leaks and an unreliable kill switch. In Germany, at least one Mysterium node operator reported a police search over traffic from other users that passed through their home connection — worth weighing this "home node" architecture risk separately from the risk to an ordinary user of the service.
