Webroot Secure VPN
In short: Webroot Secure VPN costs from $3/mo; free option: 7-day trial, mobile app only. Platforms: Windows, macOS, iOS, Android.
A VPN from Carbonite (a division of Canada's OpenText) under the Webroot brand. Per independent reviews, the service's own privacy policy contradicts itself: it claims no logging of IP addresses or DNS queries, but elsewhere admits collecting the connected server, approximate location, and DNS queries for failure diagnostics. Split tunneling doesn't work on Apple devices. Unavailable in China, Russia, Egypt, and the UAE by the service's own restrictions.
